I thank everybody at Human Appeal International who helped me to understand the values of our life.

The office of Human Appeal International is the place where I spent most of my childhood and it was where I met many great people and acquired true friends. However, the most important thing was that I was taught my religion and was guided to the right path. The office of HAI was a sanctuary for many children including myself. It was our second home.

Many times I ponder about how my life would be without HAI, I would not have met such good people or known what Islam is.

Throughout my 7 years with HAI Orphan Sponsorship program, we participated in a lot of interesting activities. These include: Unforgettable trips to the mountains, the excursions to parks, museum, theatre, skating and different competitions.

With the help of these activities we as orphans have strengthened our friendships and grew closer.

I actively took part in every activity organized through the program. The best competition I participated in is learning The Holy Koran by heart and the written contest dedicated to the month of fasting-Ramadan. I took part in both contests, and won in both.

I also participated in sports competitions, because I have a big interest in sports.

We also attend weekly Sunday lessons, with a great pleasure. During this time we learn Koran, Arabic songs and art, Arabic language (the language of Koran). Also we have a group of girls, who sing Arabic songs and make interesting handicrafts. These handicrafts were sold in a Fair.

All these activities were organized by our teachers whom I respect. Due to their great efforts we are happy, and at the end of last year the other children and I organized a small holiday for our teachers as a token of gratitude for their work.

I thank everybody at Human Appeal International who helped me to understand the values of our life.
