Shaping Tomorrow: The Legacy of Malcolm X
Human Appeal and Sa'adah present a 10 city charity dinner and lecture tour featuring Imam Siraj Wahhaj
In the 1990s, Imam Siraj rose to fame in the British Muslim community with his inspiring and
heartfelt speeches. Now, after 15 years, he is making his first major comeback to the UK & Ireland.
We are excited to be hosting his two week tour between 21st February and 4th March 2014. Imam Siraj will be joined by American spoken word artists Baraka Blue and Basheer Jones for a string of enlightening evenings about the legacy of Malcolm X.
Imam Siraj will put another piece to the puzzle on the extraordinary life of Malcolm X, the great human rights activist. Each day, Imam Siraj will illustrate the ways we can learn from the life of one of America's most historical figures.
All 10 events start at 6.30pm.

The cause
We are holding this tour to support the most vulnerable in our world: children and orphans.
Worldwide, it's children and orphans who suffer the most in conflicts. Children face tremendous dangers on a daily basis in places like Syria and Palestine. Many even become psychologically traumatised after seeing the death of family members. This tour will raise vital funds to help those in need: whether it’s through emotional support, education or medical aid.
