About the tour
5 city tour on the Islamic new year
“Shift the focus of what you see, and your experience of this life will change forever.”
The new year brings hope for new beginnings but how can we change ourselves and the world around us? How can we live the life we really want to live and help make a positive difference to others?
Inspiring Change with the world-famous writer and speaker Yasmin Mogahed will give you a new perspective on the role of faith and hope in self-transformation. This event will help you reflect on what really matters in your life, set goals for the next year and inspire you to achieve them.
“Each moment is a new birth. A new chance to come back, to get it right. A new chance to make it better.”
Yasmin Mogahed’s uplifting words of wisdom will help you see through setbacks and tragedies and realise that every moment in your life is planned for you with a higher purpose, and that your role is part of something bigger. This unique event will inspire a change of perspective that leads to greater contentment, gratitude to your Lord and self-transformation that will benefit you and others.
In aid of water projects in Gaza
Gaza is the city of hope but now it faces a major crisis. Its people have struggled for decades without basic necessities but without clean water, they are struggling to survive.
Safe drinking water is dangerously scarce in Gaza. 95% of the water supply is contaminated and it is causing serious health problems, especially for children. Tap water is unsafe to drink and it is also frequently cut off. The situation is becoming critical. If we do not act now, there will be no more Gaza by 2020.
We urgently need to build a desalination plant to make Gaza’s sea water safe to drink. This £1.4 million project will provide 600,000 people a day with safe, clean water.
Join Yasmin Mogahed and Human Appeal as we raise funds for this life-saving project in Gaza. This is the kind of inspiring change that really matters.
Help us give hope to thousands of people in desperate need of safe water. Join us and do something amazing in your life and theirs. It’s what makes us human.
