

Help the homeless in Greater Manchester this Ramadan
This Ramadan, Human Appeal and Street Support will be helping over 80 organisations in Greater Manchester dedicated to supporting vulnerable homeless people.
With nearly 3,300 people currently homeless in Greater Manchester, there is much work to do.

Human Appeal is part of the Manchester Homelessness Charter. The Charter has been co-created by people experiencing homelessness, and organisations which provide support to overcome their challenges. So join us to pledge action to end homelessness in Manchester.

How you can help
Local charities and voluntary groups supporting people who are homeless need your support. You can see the items that is currently needed across Greater Manchester.

Donating to support local projects is a quick and effective way for you to help people who are homeless in your community. Giving in this way you can be sure your money is used where it is most needed, to help people make positive changes.
£60 can pay for a bed, evening meal and breakfast in a shelter for 2 nights.
£100 can provide an emergency bed, temporary accommodation, clothes, and a counselling session.

They help aid networks to collaborate, co-ordinate and provide better support for people experiencing homelessness, and they make it easier for citizens and businesses to DO something to help.
Many small, co-ordinated actions can make big difference to homeless people this Ramadan.
